Artist Jan Gaul will be painting something beautiful out front and Sydney from Summit Massage LLC will be offering some specials you don’t want to miss! \nCopied below are details from West Reading’s official 2nd Friday event posting: \n“Every 2nd Friday of the month\, the West Reading shops and restaurants celebrate with “2nd Friday on the Avenue” hosted by the West Reading Community Revitalization Foundation (WRCRF). \n2nd Friday on the Avenue is a time to celebrate and recognize our independent shops and locally owned restaurants! \nFrom 5-8 p.m.\, they offer special promotions\, refreshments and deals. Local live music plays during the warmer months to get your toes tapping as your stroll the Avenue. \nWe are especially pleased to be in the ‘yellow-phase” allowing for restaurant outdoor seating and limited retail re-opening. \nWe are joined this month by the Mo7s the duo of Reading\, PA based musicians Dave and Amy Lewis. SUMMARY:Sunday Evening Tao-Taoist Yoga Class
DESCRIPTION:This class is full-another will be added soon. \nThe healing art of Taoist Yoga is based on WuXing\, the Chinese five alchemical elements of Earth\, Metal\, Water\, Wood & Fire as they are transmuted into Qi (vital life force energy) within the body by moving and static postures to create well being and balance within the body\, mind & spirit. \nTaoist yoga also combines Indian and Chinese traditions and is generally considered to be a hybrid of the two systems. It is said to be appropriate for all people\, regardless of their fitness\, age or body type. \nDuring class I guide you through a gentle flow of moving and static postures\, incorporating the controlled inhalation and exhalation of the breath to circulate and build chi without over stretching the muscles and tendons. This is a deeply healing practice which will develop strength and flexibility in the mind\, body\, and spirit. \nRegistration is required-non refundable but can be used towards another class if cancelled with at least 24 hours notice before class.

DESCRIPTION:This is a two day class 10/27/19 & 11/3/19\, 9:30-12:30\, you must attend both days. Register by 10/25/19\, a few spaces still remain. \nLevel II (2nd Degree) In this degree there is an expanded opening of the energy channels. The student will receive the Reiki symbols which will allow them to connect to the universal energy in a deeper way and one is taught how to send the healing energy of Reiki over a distance\, as well as to other points in time. \nOther advanced techniques are introduced and we will also learn ethical and business related information for the Reiki practitioner. If you have not gone through Level I training with me I do require a copy of your Level I certificate before registration. Previous Reiki training must have been in person\, online courses are not accepted. \n6 CEU’s for LMT’s. \nPlease contact me directly to register for this class at 610-451-9577 or healingarts42@gmail.com. If you have not taken Reiki Level I with me I do require a copy of your Level I certificate prior to registration\, online classes are not accepted.
