In this workshop\, you will learn the basics of the herbs in the blend and how to brew a herbal infusion. A small glass teapot and cup are included in the class price. \nSpace is limited\, registration is required. $50 workshop fee will be due at the time of booking and is non-refundable. If you are not able to make the workshop and cancel with 24 hours’ notice before class you will be able to use your credit at the studio towards a service or class within one year. There are no credits given for no-shows. \nClass is held on the 2nd floor up steps. Parking is street parking or the paid shopping center lot across the street (free to park on a Sunday).

DESCRIPTION:A tea talk is where we gather in a circle\, have tea\, and learn about the healing benefits of a featured tea or herb. During this relaxing and informative talk we discuss the uses of the herb\, how to prepare a tea\, and anything else that may come up. \nTulsi\, Holy Basil\, known as “Queen of Herbs” and “The Incomparable One” is one of the most sacred plants in India and is used as an Ayurvedic tea herb. Tulsi has profound medicinal and spiritual effects and has been used for centuries for its benefits for the mind~body~spirit. One of the main therapeutic actions of holy basil is to act as an adaptogen in the body which promote’s the body’s natural healing abilities and helps it respond better to physical\, mental\, and emotional stress\, it is also a powerful anti-oxidant and beneficial for all body systems. \nThis class approximately one hour long.  Cost of class is $15. Registration is required and payment is due at time of registration.  Space is limited and fills up quickly.  Non-refundable if cancelled without 24 hour notice before class.
